This tray makes a great catch-all, petite serving piece, and wonderful designated throne of awesomeness for that one special thing.  The carved skull is based on a skull that toured with a Parisian medical show at the turn of the century. If I ever find out more about his life (in additional to death), I'll be sure to update you.  It is glazed in Mountain Grey, a Clay Wanderer original, that pools into cloudy blue swirls, just like foggy morning in the mountains.
